In the spring of 2020, the life of 18-year-old Zamire Holloway was tragically cut short on a West Philadelphia street. On the evening of Tuesday, May 5, 2020, just before 10 p.m., the sounds of gunfire echoed in the 1400 block of North 52nd Street. When police arrived, they found the young man lying in the road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
