Birmingham police say a 49-year-old woman who was shot on Halloween night has died. Birmingham police say Franquita Cunningham died Tuesday night. Police were called to the 100 block of 5th Avenue Southwest on Halloween night after receiving a call of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found Cunningham suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head area.
