In the evening hours of Thursday, October 29, 2020, a Philadelphia man, Amir Boston, was found shot in a rear driveway on the 5300 block of Irving Street. The 33-year-old Black male had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and torso. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 7:25 p.m. and quickly transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Boston succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead that evening.
