Michael Cox, a 57-year-old Black male from Baltimore, was shot and killed on the morning of November 15, 2020, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Police said the shooting happened on the 300 block of South 13th Street, where officers were called shortly after 10:30 a.m. Cox suffered gunshot injuries and died from the wounds. His death came during a violent stretch in Harrisburg, with police and local news outlets describing it as the third shooting in the city in less than 24 hours.
