Darnell Steven Brown, a 41-year-old African American man from Washington, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2021. He was fatally shot outside a Family Dollar store on Highland Avenue in Washington, PA, shortly before 3:45 p.m. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the store, and Brown was shot in the head. City police were called to the scene, and no other injuries were reported.
