On a summer day in Pittsburgh, what began as a dispute over a rental truck escalated into a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of 21-year-old Jacob Jaillet. The young man, an employee at a U-Haul facility on Washington Boulevard, was shot in the neck on July 27, 2021, by a customer who had become enraged.
