On October 24, 2021, Juan Carlos Romero, a 33-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, was fatally shot in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred outside the Rmusic21 Lounge, where a disturbance led to Romero being shot multiple times by Santonio Pierre Malone. Romero was pronounced dead at the scene by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office. Another victim, Alorfi Bladimir Ramirez, aged 29, was also shot multiple times but survived the attack.
