On the evening of New Year's Eve 2021, in Chester, Pennsylvania, tragedy struck the community. Tyrhi Keonne McCray, a 21-year-old African American male, was found with gunshot wounds at the intersection of West 7th Street and Parker Street. He was rushed to the nearby Crozer-Chester Medical Center, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
