Christina S. Christi Spicuzza, a 38-year-old woman from Monroeville, PA, tragically died on February 10, 2022. She was working as an Uber driver when she picked up a passenger named Calvin Crew. According to the prosecution, Crew forced Spicuzza to drive to a wooded area in Monroeville, where he then shot her. Spicuzza's body was discovered two days later by a delivery driver.
The trial of Calvin Crew, who is accused of Spicuzza's murder, began at the Allegheny County Courthouse. Prosecutors argued that Crew kidnapped Spicuzza after she picked him up for an Uber trip, robbed her, and then marched her into the woods before killing her.
