On the evening of May 1, 2022, 37-year-old Cornell P. Lee Jr., a Black male from Pittsburgh, was fatally shot in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. At approximately 9:27 p.m., Allegheny County 9-1-1 received reports of shots fired in the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue. Upon arrival, first responders discovered evidence of a shooting at the scene.
