Andre Gray, a 34-year-old African American man, was reported missing from his Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh home on October 25, 2014. His disappearance prompted an extensive search, and his body was eventually discovered in the Ohio River in West Virginia in March 2015. An autopsy revealed that he had been shot in the head and stabbed multiple times.
