On the night of her death, Debra was shot by her husband, Charles Lenn Sok, at their home on Morrell Avenue in Connellsville. Charles allegedly admitted to shooting Debra because he believed she had been unfaithful. Charles was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with criminal homicide.
