In the late summer evening of August 8, 2022, the life of 26-year-old Quran A. Justice was tragically cut short in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A Black male, Justice was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident unfolded around 8:10 p.m. on the 7400 block of State Road, where police responded to a call. Upon their arrival, they found Justice gravely injured.
He was rushed to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, but his wounds proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
Despite an ongoing investigation by the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The motive behind the killing remains unknown to the public.
