On a September evening in 2022, the life of 33-year-old Sade Lanise Brown was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in Braddock, Pennsylvania. The Black/African American woman from McKeesport was standing outside along Pine Way at approximately 9:40 p.m. on September 6th when she was struck by a single gunshot to the chest. Emergency responders rushed her to Forbes Hospital, but her injuries proved fatal, and she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
