On December 10, 2022, Jani Bostic, a 21-year-old woman from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot while sitting in her car in Bethlehem, Northampton County. The incident occurred around 2:55 p.m. in the 1200 block of Butztown Road. Bostic was later pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg, and the Lehigh County coroner ruled her death as a homicide.
