Peter Paul Sawicki, a 43-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio, was tragically murdered on September 18, 1981. He was killed while trying to protect his daughter and her friend from an attack by serial killers Anthony and Nathaniel Cook. Sawicki's daughter and her friend survived the attack.
