Robert Bob Darling Jr., a 21-year-old white male, was found dead on October 20, 1984, in Benson, Hamilton County, New York. His body was discovered by hunters in a heavily wooded area off Benson Road. An autopsy determined that Darling Jr. was the victim of homicide. He was last seen alive on August 3, 1984, by his roommate, just before the roommate left for work.
