On March 1, 2011, Michael Downing, a 57-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was fatally shot while sitting in his vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 PM at 352 Howe Street in Akron, located in Summit County. Michael Downing died from gunshot wounds sustained during this attack, and the Akron Police Department has been investigating this case since the homicide.
