Kathleen Rose, a 41-year-old woman from Newark, Ohio, tragically lost her life on January 24, 2001. She was killed in what was later determined to be a murder-suicide. Kathleen's husband, H. Douglas Hatfield, shot and killed Kathleen, their daughter Courtney Hatfield, and their two dogs before turning the gun on himself. The incident occurred at their home on 106 South 35th Street in Newark.
