On December 8, 2004, Erin Alexander Halk, a 29-year-old white male from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed during a mass shooting at the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus. Halk, a former U.S. Marine and an employee of the venue, was working security and assisting with stage setup for the band Damageplan on the night of the incident.
