David W. Hall, a 44-year-old African American man from Akron, Ohio, was tragically found dead on October 8, 2005. Hall was riding his bicycle on the city's near west side when he was shot in the head. His body was discovered the next morning in a backyard along Bacon Avenue, about a mile from his home. The circumstances of his death were particularly puzzling as there were no signs of robbery, mugging, or a fight.
