Devin Lovaughn Sheppard, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 14, 2011, in Dayton, Ohio. He was shot in the chest while visiting a female friend at 7431 Gardenside Drive in Butler Township. Despite managing to reach a neighboring home before collapsing, he was later pronounced dead at Miami Valley Hospital.
