19-year-old with a criminal record, was arrested and charged with murder, two counts of felonious assault, two counts of aggravated burglary, and two weapons charges. Taylor was also facing a probation violation for possessing heroin. Both Alexander and Taylor had prior criminal records, and Alexander had been shot in another dispute a few years earlier.
