On June 5, 2014, tragedy struck the city of Columbus, Ohio, when 29-year-old Tyrone Brandy, a Black male, lost his life to senseless gun violence. What began as an apparent vehicle accident quickly turned into a grim discovery when responding officers found him inside his car, suffering from a gunshot wound.
