Christopher Byerly, a 23-year-old man from Newark, Ohio, tragically died on December 15, 2014, from a gunshot wound to the chest. Byerly was at a friend's home on East Main Street when the incident occurred. Initially, it was believed that Byerly had accidentally shot himself, but further investigation revealed that this was not the case.
