Jesse Thomas Moffitt, a 45-year-old man from Newark, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on May 11, 2018. Moffitt was known for his jovial personality and love for family, food, and fast cars. He was at a friend's house on Hancock Street when he got into a verbal altercation with Glenn Priest, a 29-year-old man from Johnstown. The argument escalated, and Priest shot Moffitt before fleeing the scene in a gold pickup truck.
