Myron Parnell Webb, a 38-year-old African American male from Mansfield, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2015. Webb was fatally stabbed during an aggravated burglary at his residence on East 2nd Street in Mansfield. He was found with severe injuries and was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
Mansfield police launched an investigation into Webb's death and identified Marcelluis Luckie, a 41-year-old Columbus
man, as the primary suspect. Luckie was charged with two counts of aggravated murder, four counts of kidnapping, one count of aggravated burglary, and one count of robbery, all with firearm and repeat violent offender specifications. Additionally, he faced charges of tampering with evidence and having a weapon under disability. Luckie pleaded not guilty to the charges and sought to have the indictment dismissed, but the court denied his motion.
