On June 28, 2015, Lucero Rico Villa, a 29-year-old Hispanic woman, was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of the Gardens of Easton Apartments in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 11:37 p.m., when Columbus Police were called to the scene and found Villa suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, she was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:44 p.m.
