Ja'Quan Tucker, a 21-year-old male from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on July 10, 2015. His death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred during an altercation over a missing dog. Tucker, who was African American, was a passenger in a car when Gino Griggs, a 19-year-old male, confronted him about the missing dog. The confrontation escalated, and Griggs pulled out a handgun, firing several shots, one of which struck Tucker in the chest.
