On October 8, 2015, 48-year-old Dianna Mitchell Sharpe and her brother, 50-year-old Robert Wayne Mitchell, were fatally shot in a residence located at 424 Pate Road in Cragford, Alabama. The suspect, 50-year-old Dean Stevens, who resided at the same address, was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with their deaths.
