Anthony Vincent Velez, a 22-year-old male from Sterling Heights, Michigan, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2011. He and his girlfriend, 19-year-old Rosemary Chyz, were found tied up and shot multiple times in a field on the northeast side of Detroit. The couple had been traveling the night before in a gray 2000 Chevy Impala, heading toward the city around 10:30 p.m. Their vehicle was discovered burning approximately an hour later, just two blocks east of the old Packard plant.
