Ramell Campbell, aged 27, was fatally shot in Detroit on July 30, 2017, along with Dominique Brown. Both Campbell and Brown were aspiring rappers from Southfield, Michigan, and had spent the evening at a recording studio and later a nightclub. The two left the nightclub together in Brown's car, and while traveling on I-94 near Livernois, an unknown assailant opened fire, killing them both.
