Lexus M. Kimbro, a 19-year-old African American female from Cleveland, OH, tragically lost her life on September 5, 2015. She was shot and killed while sitting in a car at a traffic light at the intersection of East 76th Street and Harvard Avenue. Lexus and her boyfriend had just purchased a fan and were on their way home when the shooting occurred. Her boyfriend was not injured, but Lexus was hit in her torso and arm.

The Cleveland Homicide Detective Arthur Echols emphasized that no one should be harmed while simply leaving a store and heading home. The investigation is ongoing, and Crimestoppers of Cuyahoga County has joined the effort, offering cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.
