Ruth A. Van Evra, an 83-year-old woman from Lancaster, OH, tragically died on September 23, 2015, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Ruth and her husband, Robert E. Van Evra, also 83, were found in their home on Coldspring Drive by police officers responding to a call from their son.
