Hector Flores, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on December 2, 2015, in Columbus, OH. He was shot at Independence Village Apartments near Reynoldsburg, OH, by Dennis Juris, a 22-year-old suspect. Juris was the ex-boyfriend of Flores's girlfriend and allegedly shot Flores after going to her apartment. Paramedics pronounced Flores dead shortly after police arrived at the scene.
Following the shooting, Juris fled the scene and was later found hanged in a barn in Pickerin
