Corey Colbert, a 29-year-old male from Toledo, OH, tragically died on January 1, 2016. He was shot and killed outside Marted's Lounge on Lagrange Street in north Toledo. The incident occurred on New Year's Day, marking Toledo's first murder of 2016.

Kevon Waters was charged with aggravated murder in connection with Corey Colbert's death. According to prosecutors, Waters shot and killed Colbert outside the lounge. However, Waters later took a plea deal and pleaded with an Alford plea to a ...
