Devonta Hoskins, a 17-year-old African American male from Dayton, OH, tragically died on March 15, 2016, from a gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead shortly after being driven to Good Samaritan Hospital. The incident occurred following a large fight at Residence Park in Dayton, where shots were fired as the crowd dispersed. Hoskins was not involved in the fight but was caught in the crossfire.
