Ronnie Lee Hopings, a 39-year-old African American man from Toledo, OH, tragically passed away on March 16, 2016. He was a loving father of six children and was well-regarded in his community for his compassionate heart and warm smile. Ronnie was shot and killed outside his home in West Toledo after meeting his wife for lunch and picking up his children from the babysitter. The incident was described as an attempted robbery that went wrong, and his family believes it was an ambush.
