On April 18, 2016, 22-year-old Ernest Swift was tragically shot to death in Maple Heights, Ohio. Police were called to Sunnyslope Apartments around 10:40 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found Swift lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to UH Bedford Medical Center, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
