Sylvestor T. Gibson Sears, a 27-year-old man from Chicago, was tragically shot to death on April 19, 2016, in Fairfield, Ohio. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a medical building on Winton Road near Nilles Road. Sears was one of two men who were shot that night. The other victim, a 33-year-old man from Cincinnati, survived and was treated at the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center.
