Monique Weston, a 34-year-old woman from Columbus, OH, tragically died on July 21, 2016, from multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by her estranged husband, Lenzell Weston. Monique had endured years of abuse from Lenzell, who had been charged with domestic violence six times in the past three years. On the day before her death, Monique reported to Columbus police that Lenzell had assaulted her, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. However, Lenzell remained at large.
