Jamar Jackson, a 28-year-old African American man from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on August 22, 2016. He was fatally shot in the 800 block of Catalpa Drive in Dayton. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m., when police responded to reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found Jackson shot and transported him to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
