Eryc Ahmir Higgins, an 18-year-old African American male from Akron, OH, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2016, in Canton, OH. He was one of two victims in a double homicide shooting at a home in the 2400 block of Midway Avenue NE. Joshua Weatherspoon, 35, was the other victim. The incident occurred early in the morning, and both men were found dead in the kitchen of Weatherspoon's home.
