Ashley Sides, a 31-year-old woman from Cookeville, Tennessee, tragically died on November 1, 2016, in Brookville, Ohio. Her death was the result of a police-involved shooting that occurred after a high-speed chase. Sides was shot three times in the back by Officer Frank Gracie as she attempted to flee from police. The incident began when Sides fled a traffic stop and crashed her Cadillac SUV into a Wendy’s restaurant before trying to run from the police.
