Darrin F. Mitchell, a 35-year-old African American male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on December 17, 2016. Known affectionately as "Bird" to his friends, Darrin was a former student at Mifflin High School and an avid sports fan and video gamer. He was especially proud of his three sons, Taleal, Davion, and Darrin Jr.
On the night of his death, Darrin was found unresponsive inside his residence at 1561 Duxberry Avenue by Columbus Police officers who were called to the scene
