Ashley Marie Newman, a 30-year-old woman from Groveport, Ohio, tragically lost her life on January 1, 2018. She was fatally shot by her husband, Sean M. Newman, age 32, at their residence in the 4000 block of Yukon Avenue. The incident occurred on New Year's Eve, around 11:30 PM, when police received a 911 call reporting a shooting. Ashley was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to Grant Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
