Anthony Morelli, a 54-year-old Caucasian male, was a dedicated police officer in Westerville, Ohio. On February 10, 2018, Officer Morelli responded to a domestic violence call along with his colleague, Officer Eric Joering. The call was a result of a 911 hang-up, which led them to the residence of Quentin Smith. Upon entering the apartment, Smith opened fire, fatally shooting both officers.
