On April 15, 2018, Jerome Anthony Grant, a 30-year-old Black male, was fatally shot while driving on South Terrace Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Police were called to the scene after reports of multiple gunshots, and they found Grant's car crashed into a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Investigators believe that Grant was shot during an exchange of gunfire between individuals in the street.
