Diamond Green, a 21-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on June 4, 2018, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred during a gunfight in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Diamond was caught in the crossfire between Jonathan Green, her uncle, and Taureen Rice. According to court documents, Jonathan Green and Rice were involved in an argument that escalated into a shootout. In an attempt to protect his niece, Jonathan Green pushed Diamond out of the way, but she was fatally shot by Rice.
