Betty Thomas, a 28-year-old African American woman from Cincinnati, OH, tragically lost her life on January 9, 2014. She was shot and killed in her Avondale neighborhood home along with her partner, Adam Bostic. The couple's two young daughters, aged 3 and 6, were present in the home at the time but were not harmed.
